Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Visit every local office (OpCo/Division/House) at least once every six months to conduct business reviews, present THS news and capabilities, provide training and identify key opportunities for mutual growth.
  • Assist in development of annual business plans with local distributors.
  • Support the development and communication of corporate Distributor programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other sales teams on developing 'pull' from Operators in assigned territory/customer.
  • Provide updates to Sales leadership on opportunities and issues.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to close sales in a professional and effective manner.
  • Assist in providing training and direction to Sales Agencies in regards to products and programs.
  • Establish a solid relationship with Sales Agencies’ customer teams to coordinate go to market priorities and track results.
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate sales data to internal and external customers.
  • Forecast significant volume increases or decreases to centralized demand planning team.

Skills, Experience and Education:

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Strong Communication skills including written, oral, interpersonal and presentation.
  • The ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good business acumen, including understanding of basic P&L principles.
  • Functional understanding of MS office.
  • Good analytical skills necessary to prepare and deliver business updates, including the ability to retrieve data from a Corporate BI system and develop management reports.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills. Must be independent and self-motivated and able to plan activity to meet project timeline commitments.
  • Sound negotiating skills required to secure new business and to maintain profitable relationships. 
  • Ability to develop recommendations, plans, and tactics.
  • Ability to manage a budget.
  • Basic understanding of pricing, trade promotions and the impact of pricing on volume.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and develop Sales Agency and Distributor personnel while exemplifying leadership behaviors that support organizational development, accountability and foster a positive selling culture.


  • Bachelors degree required

Minimum Experience Preferred:

  • Minimum of three years of sales experience.
  • Previous experience managing Food Brokers or FAFH customers is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

  • Overnight travel is required.  Travel is estimated to be 50%.
