Job Description:

Provide leadership and guidance throughout the TreeHouse Performance System (TPS) process. Develop, implement and maintain a Continuous Improvement program based on Lean principles that promotes a Zero loss culture. A Zero Loss culture eliminates non-value added work and losses every day. A Zero loss culture expects and demands continuous improvement every day across all aspects of performance (safety, quality, productivity and customer value). Introduce and employ Continuous Improvement events to target and eliminate specific losses. Identify and train a core group of Continuous Improvement leaders in the organization. Establish and maintain effective relationships and engage directors, Managers, Supervisors and Group members to maximize the effectiveness of the TPS process across all business units. Act as a change-agent by working closely with management to establish sustainable practices that empower employees, accelerate change, and enable personal and team development. Introduce and reinforce a common approach to loss elimination in the plant. Loss data is collected, stratified and improvement efforts are effectively communicated and prioritized. Improvement efforts are measured by substantive data, not anecdotes. Utilize processes including, but not limited to, GEMBA, Simple Root Cause, Statistical Process Control, Vertical Start-Up, Value Stream Mapping, Autonomous Maintenance, 5s, Kaizen events and material flow processes to produce strategic and tactical approaches to improvement. Facilitate the ideation, design and implementation of new improvement programs across all pillars of the business. Initiate a predetermined number of Continuous Improvement events on a yearly basis. Develop and maintain a reporting process for continuous improvement projects. Perform regular updates on the progress of the teams and their achievement against key measurable. In the event of their absence, the responsibility is delegated to the Manager Plant. Participation on the management/leadership team. Other duties as assigned.
