Responsibilities:

  • Leads a multiple shift production facility of approx. 275 employees, provides leadership and development of supervisory staff and hourly production employees. Ensures efficient and effective use of labor, tools and equipment •
  • Direct supervision of 6 salaried production supervisors and CSD lead. Indirect supervision across functional departments including production, shipping, maintenance, quality & sanitation to meet production goals.
  • Maintain high standards of conduct to include consistent practice of TreeHouse Foods code of conduct, adherence to collective bargaining agreements, and TreeHouse personnel policies, and practices.
  • Develop and manage operations and CI budgets to meet financial goals. Initiates cost savings measures relating to crewing, standards, processes and improvements.
  • Reviews, monitors and communicates daily/weekly/and monthly reporting of key performance indicators and the corresponding implications/action items.
  • Completes daily operations and long term strategic plans and translates into measurable performance goals.
  • Actively participates and leads plant wide safety initiatives. Provides aggressive follow-up of the Company Safety Processes including Key Concepts
  • Works with and assists Research and Development in product development and coordination and implementation of plant trials on production floor.
  • Plans and assists in capital project planning, development and implementation.
  • Active role in employee engagement, all measures.
  • Back up for Plant Manager in his/her absence.
  • Lead the CPS roll-out; driving the cultural shift to managing through pillars and providing leadership and subject matter expertise in the TreeHouse Performance System (CPS) best practices.
  • Works closely with cross functional teams (i.e. Project Engineers, Contractors, Technicians, Peers, Other CPS Pillars leads, etc.) to plan, implement, lead and/or execute actions that will assist in CPS implementation.
  • Create an Autonomous Maintenance work culture and run to standard environment using CPS tools.
  • Coaches teams in personal accountability, giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, problem solving, decision making, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions
  • Leads team in tracking and understanding Key Performance Indicators, Gap Analysis, and creating action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Actively reinforces key CPS concepts everyday through coaching and auditing across the organization.
