Position Summary:

Provides the overall leadership for the production functions within the plant. Must possess the ability to manage, lead and implement controls and process improvements to help successfully achieve exceptional safety and production standards. Coaches, trains and documents best practices through continuous improvement efforts in order to enable the company to provide superior quality products and service to internal and external customers, while preparing for new customers and rapid sales growth.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish leadership and set the strategic direction for the manufacturing team. Ensure necessary plans are in place to deliver the required business results while developing a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Must be able to drive step function improvements in manufacturing while preparing for new customers and rapid sales growth. Must be able to put new systems and procedures in place while instilling accountability and ownership in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Utilize available data (line speed target, set-up guidelines, and efficiency and process data) to continuously improve productivity, uptime and reliability.  Utilize the above information as a tool to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and product cost.
  • Sets aggressive goals to drive improvements with clear and visual goals and accountabilities. In addition, sets clear priorities and aligns resources to deliver against business and regulatory requirements in the areas of cost, financial controls, quality, safety and business initiatives.
  • Assesses manufacturing staff for performance and job fit. Manages staff of direct and indirect reports through regular feedback, performance reviews and developmental activities to ensure movement towards a high performance organization.
  • Supports Continuous Improvement projects through the practice of Root Cause Analysis, Kaizens, 5S, etc.
  • Must comply and support the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Treehouse Foods.
  • Must be able to do other related duties as assigned. This position can involve weekend and on call duties.

Qualifications and Requirements:


☒Bachelor’s Degree Required – Type: Related field

Skills & Requirements:

  • Must have 5 – 10 years of job related experience
  • Experience with SAP is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work effectively with others, show good judgment, initiative and be a critical thinker
